Hi, guys.
If you want, since Andrew's space is full, you can host big files on my website for the time being - user is infodevice, password is devinfo, address is ftp.selfasbody.com - put files inside the info.selfasbody.com (feel free to make a directory for yourself)

they will be available online at http://info.selfasbody.com

(note that only one user at a time will be able to log in, so if you can't log in, someone else is probably uploading stuff)

While I appreciate this gesture, it is foregoing one of the goals of the assignment: namely that I have the files myself. I do understand, however, the frustration of the non-working server, this year. Therefore, I would suggest submitting on a CD before Friday evening. I will then put them online.

Alternatively, of course, if Dan can give the files on a CD as quickly as possible. Without the files, I cannot submit the marks.

Also, please note this has nothing to do with my disk quota: as you are submitting the files to the server, they belong to your disk quota, even when under my server path. Anyway, I really need to be able to have the files, instead of it being served by a 3rd party...

you put in the assignment sheet that if we can't upload the large files, we should give you a link to where you can download them, I am merely offering a place where people can put them, so they can give you a link, so you can download them. I wasn't suggesting they put their entire assignment on the site!
sorry for the confusion.

Also, I think the issue is with the architecture file stores generally, the drop box was running very low on space also.
