I'd just like to clarify what the expectations for the documentation project are - there are three separate sections on the sheet you handed out, but I am not sure if sections 1 & 2 (document your design rationale & document your working project within a physical context) are assumed to be done within section 3 (design a website).

That is, in the website, I will have both a design rationale and a documentation of my working (well...) project, but are you also expecting parts 1 & 2 to be handed in separately? I don't think this is the case, but it seems like it's worth checking, just in case...

Hi Dan,

Sincerely sorry for the short delay. In short, the only deliverable is the website, and only the website. There is no expectation of a separate report. It is expected though, that parts 1 & 2 are clearly embedded in the website.

Some students have informed me there seems to be a problem with uploading the websites.

Some have made reference to the fact that the disk seems to be full. If this is true (I cannot check this today, but will do my very best tomorrow morning), there is nothing I can do about it immediately. I would therefore ask you to put all your files, as they would appear as a website, on a CD and submit it in my office / underneath my door before this Friday 5pm. I would also appreciate more precise error messages or descriptions of SFTP behaviors instead of a simple message "it is not working", so I can alert tech support.

In any case, I am very sorry this is happening.

If you are able to upload your files to your own webspace on ftp.arch.usyd.edu.au, then that is fine as well. I can then easily copy them to my webspace. I doubt however, this will work...
